Alot has been going on this year already!
FIRST OFF....Hope is just the greatest of fun and always full of excitement! She has this bursting funny side that does not STOP! YEAH...she really teaches us what is MOST important! Although at bedtime, I don't always feel like playing the comedian role with her. Sorry Hope!
Another side of Hope: a HUGE purposeful heart! When chanan or I take a shower she will stand outside the shower with towel in hand waiting till she hears the water go off and then she hands over the towel. She used to wait until she heard the water go off and then get the towel...now she stands there holding the towel the whole time...what a servants heart! I was down stairs while Chanan was in the shower and I heard Hope running across the floor up stairs and I became concerned about what she was up to. Chanan said, oh she gave me my towel and then she RAN to our bedroom to get my shirt....and I said WHAT? Hope thought all this out on her own..WOW...what a servants heart! She also says the most beautiful things.....She will say mommy: "I'm having fun" and then she says, Mommy "I'm Happy"...all on her own! What a sweet heart. Hope has now shifted to being Daddies girl. She does not want to let him go and of course wants to go with him where ever he goes. She keeps telling everyone that "HE'S MY DADDY", "THAT'S MY ABBA"...how Sweet! Chanan used to get so hurt when Hope wanted me only. I told him that would change in due time....your turn has come sweet heart :)It is amazing what little people they are, ALL on there own. Created special by GOD to serve him and bring glory to him.
More news...Hope has been helping me cook. Now that I let her help me break eggs, she gets upset if I don't let her help me cook everything. So I put her on a chair and let her put together some salmon patties...she loved it but didn't like her hands getting that kind of messy though.
Hope had her first official tea party with invites to Grandma and Daddy to show up in the living room at 10:25 am sharp. It was the cutest thing. Hope, with mommies assistance, poured tea in the little tea cups and Hope on her own carried her tray around to each one and served cookies. What fun we had.
We finally sold our house. We have not found another house yet so we wait at my families home for a while. We had wanted to move for so long. So it has been nice to finally close that chapter to look forward to the next adventure in our lives.
Enjoy our most recent pics......in the slide show above...that would not load here :)

Love the new pics! Hope is adorable as always! If you're interested, there's an adoptive families' get-together happening in Columbus, OH in July. www.agatheringofourhearts.blogspot.com Not sure yet if we are going, but we're thinking about it if we can get a waiver to leave the state with Nico.
